Dubai:
It came to our client’s attention, the well-known Italian Company “TRUSSARDI S.p.A.” that large quantity of counterfeit TRUSSARDI products are distributed and sold in UAE. Acting under instructions from Racheli & C. (Legal Representatives of Trussardi S.p.A.), we filed a complaint with the Dubai Economic Development Department (DEDD), the department that is in charge of infringement matters in the Emirate of Dubai. With the coordination of the DEDD inspectors, our investigators and a Trussardi representative, raids were carried out against the fake dealers and counterfeit products were successfully confiscated.

Abu Dhabi:
Simultaneously, another complaint was filed with the Public Prosecutor (the authority in charge of anti-counterfeiting in Abu Dhabi) against certain infringers, this time, and since this matter is considered as a precedent in UAE, the Public Prosecutor himself accompanied the campaign and confiscate the fake products. The matter was then transferred to the relevant court for initiating criminal case proceedings.
