Kindly note that the new Design Law No. 39/2000 was issued on 21
May 2000 effective on 3 June 2000, however, the Regulations to
implement the Law is yet to be issued. Therefore, protection is
available only by filing a cautionary notice at local newspaper.
Additionally, if applicable, a design may be registered as a
trademark.
Requirements for publishing cautionary notices in respect of a
design are the following:

Power of attorney (Power Form).

The little of the patent or design and particulars of
corresponding foreign registration, if any.

A summary description or any other information regarding the
invention if the owner desires to have such particulars published.

Details of the owner.
