Desigs:

 

Design Ordinance 2000 was promulgated on 7^th September, 2000.

 

The duration of a Design registration is 10 year as of filing or priority date.

 

(Priority can be claimed within 6 months of the Parent Application)

 

 

Renewal:

Can be obtained on or before the expiry of 10 years two times each for 5 years.

 

Formerly registered Designs are governed by the old law to the extent of their renewals/extension only.

 

Desig requirements:

 

1. Power of attorney notarized.1

2.Three copies of formal drwaings.

3.Certified copy of priority documenet if claimed
