National application requirements

1. A power of attorney duly legalized up to the Angolan Consulate, or apostilled according to the Hague Convention. (Power Form)

2. Full particulars of the inventors and the applicants.

3. Title of the invention.

4. A copy of a corresponding application filed in another country, if any.

5. The specification and claims, together with an abstract of the invention in the English language for translation into Portuguese.

6. A set of the drawings, if any.

7. A duly legalized deed of assignment of the invention, if nay.

8. Details of the international classification.

PCT Filing requirements

1. International Publication Sheet.

2. International Search Report.

3. PCT Preliminary Examination Report.

4. Specifications, claims abstract and drawings in Portuguese.

5. A power of attorney duly legalized up to the Angolan Consulate, or apostilled according to the Hague Convention. (Power Form)

Notes:

• Angola became a member state of the PCT as of 27 December 2007, and it is now possible to file PCT national phase there.

• It is worth mentioning that Angola's official language is Portuguese.
