Filing Requirements:

Patents: Argentine


  Patent Requirements:
  1. Power of attorney notarized and legalized by Apostille, or Consul of Argentina. (Power Form)

  2. One copy of the specification, claims and abstract (for translation into Spanish).

  3. Sets of the formal drawings, on Bristol board and soft copies.

  4. A certified copy of the basic foreign patent application, if priority is to be claimed .

  5. If the applicant in the Argentinean application is different from the applicant in the basic application or the granted patent, an assignment deed from the foreign applicant will be required.

  6. Details of applicant (name, residential address, country citizen and I.D.).

  7. Details of inventor/s (name, residential address, country citizen and I.D.).

  8. Certified copy of the patent priority document that includes memory, climbs and figures to be filed before the I.N.P.I. (Instituto Nacional de Propiedad Indusrial - Argentinean Patent and Trademark Office). to be translated into Spanish by an Argentinean translator.
