-
All Australian patent applications can be lodged without any forms signed by the applicant or inventor. No notarization or legalization
is necessary. The Notice of Entitlement Form can be signed by the Australian Patent Attorney on behalf of the applicant upon receipt of instructions to so proceed. It is our practice not to file the Notice of Entitlement at lodgment to premature acceptance of the application.
-
A
Translator should complete a verification of the translation. No witnesses or notarization is required.
-
Examination can only be initiated at the request of the applicant, by voluntary request within five years of the Australian filing, or within six months of the receipt of a direction to do so from the Commissioner of Patents, whichever occurs
first .
