Copy of the granted UK or European (UK) patent and should accompany the
application.
PCT National Phase application:
In addition to the above, we need the following:-

Certified copy of the priority document in case priority is to
be claimed.

PCT Preliminary Examination Report.

PCT Demand.
-
International Search Report.

International Application Form.
Notes:

Even Seychelles has joined the PCT but yet to passed new
legislation to provide for the filing of national phase PCT
applications and or claiming of convention priority.

Patents granted in UK or European are registered.
International Agreement:

Paris Union as of 7 November 2002.

WIPO as of 16 March 2000.
-
PCT as of 7 November 2002.
Novelty requirement:
Applications must be filed within 3 years of the granted of the UK
or European (UK) patent for the local re-registration.
Duration and payment of annuities:
The patent is valid for so long as the UK patent on which it is
based remains in force.
No renewal fees are payable. The term and renewal fee requirements
for national phase PCT applications are not yet clear. |
