Change of Name / Address Requirements:

Simply signed power of attorney under new name (Power Form).
Official document certifying change of name, legalized.

Assignment Requirements:

Power of attorney signed by the Assignee (Power Form).
Assignment document signed by both parties notarized, and legalized.
No consideration provisions, no tax implication, no stamp duty, with or without Goodwill.
Pending applications and unregistered marks may be not assigned.

Searches:

Method of search: Conducted by computer on the official database.
Time to be taken: 7 days.
Contents: Search report includes information of prior marks hit by the search and comments on similarity between the subject mark each relevant prior mark.
Other Necessity of use search on prior marks should be judged case by case.
