  Trademark/ Service Mark Requirements:
  1. Simply signed power of attorney (Power Form).

  2. Details of the applicant.

  3. 12 prints (5x5x or 5x10cm).

  4. The list of goods and services and the classes pertaining thereto.

  5. Certified copy of priority document, if the priority is to be claimed.

 

  Renewal Requirements:
  1. Simply signed power of attorney (Power Form).

 

  Change Of Name/Address Requirements:
  • Official document certifying the change of name.

 

  Assignment Requirements:
  1. Simply signed power of attorney (Power Form).

  2. Assignment documents signed by both parties.

  3. Nominal consideration is acceptable no tax implication, no stamp duty, with or without Goodwill.

  4. Pending application may be assigned, unregistered marks may not be assigned.

 

  Searches:
  1. Method of search : Conducted by computer of the official database.

  2. Time to be taken : 2 days.

  3. Contents: Search report includes information of prior marks hit by the search and comments on similarity between the subject mark and each relevant prior mark.
