Singapore Trade Mark laws amended to provide for the following
changes effective 2 July 2007:-

Multi-class applications while
official fees remain same.

Division of single and multi-class
applications (for a fee), to expedite registration procedure in
case the Examiner raises objections, or where there is an
opposition, in respect of only some of the classes, so that
those classes of goods or services that do not face objection or
opposition may proceed to registration first.

Use requirement:
Non-use for 5 years following registration makes the registration vulnerable to cancellation; intent-to-use applications may be field in Singapore.
